Grand Hampton Music Festival
For the fourth year in a row, the Grand Hampton Music Festival was a success! This year, we saw the largest turnout for the Festival yet, and Grand Hampton residents enjoyed performances from three bands. The String Assassins, an acoustic guitar quartet from the Treasure Coast, served as the event’s opener. Boat Train, returning for the second year in a row from Jupiter, Florida, played a one and a half hour set next. Finally, Sugar and Spice Revue, a Grand Hampton favorite, took the stage as the festival’s headliner. Their signature mix of blues, soul and R&B entertained crowds throughout their two hour set.
Food trucks serving hungry Grand Hampton residents included Kebablicious, The Melt Machine, and Kona Ice. Everyone was out dancing and having a great time, including the kids! And, through raffles, the community was able to raise money for the charity Instruments of Change.
Overall, Grand Hampton saw 18 vendors for this year’s festival lined up on both sides of the field. It was a great outcome and the Grand Hampton team looks forward to putting on another fun festival for the community next year!
