A Holiday Season to Remember with Melrose Lifestyle Services
It really is the most wonderful time of the year! Getting together with friends and family, eating incredible food, decorating your home, taking advantage of huge sales and discounts to find the perfect gift, enjoying classical movies and tv specials and sharing traditions with the next generation…. The entire Christmas season—and all the holidays that encompass it—always imbue a sense of community and joy in those that enjoy it, from great grandma or grandpa down to the newest additions to the family. That being the case, what better time is there for Melrose to showcase some of what we do best: making memories that will last a lifetime?
Mindful of the importance the holidays carry in the hearts and minds of so many of the developers, homeowners and vacationers we serve, the Melrose Lifestyle Services team has pulled out all the stops to make this winter one our clients will never forget. We’ve been hard at work introducing (or reintroducing) an array of great events, activities and programs across a variety of the lucky communities we manage.
We face a unique challenge at Melrose: because we oversee communities in a region that isn’t always traditionally associated with the holiday season, which is perplexing given the wide selection of incredible Christmas-themed attractions at places like Disney and Universal Studios, we must work that much harder to prove that central Florida is, in fact, THE vacation destination for all things Christmas. This year, we feel we’ve done a particularly fine job.
Below, we’re spotlighting one of our Lifestyle communities, Grand Hampton, to give you an idea of how Melrose Lifestyle Services can help to make the holidays great!
Some Upcoming Events
We have several exciting upcoming holiday-themed events at our beautiful Grand Hampton property. Firstly, residents are invited to join us for an extravagant tree lighting ceremony at the clubhouse on December 6th at 6:30 pm. We’ll have s’mores and caroling for those who attend. Family and friends are welcome!
For Christmas light enthusiasts with a competitive streak, residents are invited to enter our community-wide Holiday Light Contest. All you need to do is email a picture to grandhampton@melroselifestyle.com by December 14th to enter. With friendly bragging rights over one’s neighbors at stake, we’re sure to see an influx of participants. Submit a photo of your winter wonderland today!
Grand Hampton residents will have another opportunity to flex their creative muscles in our Golf Car & Bike Decorating Contest and Parade. Watch as the community’s finest show off their Christmas creations in a grand parade in front of the clubhouse on December 7th at 10 am. Considering Florida’s renowned beautiful winter weather, the day’s proceedings are sure to be a blast.
In terms of adult-oriented holiday activities at Grand Hampton, residents have a great option. The community’s clubhouse will host an Adult Christmas Party on December 13th from 6pm to 9pm. With tasty appetizers, Spunky Spirits, and a full dinner available, the party is sure to be a feast for the ages. Residents can even come dressed as their favorite Christmas characters to compete in our contest for the best costume.
Live entertainment, including a DJ, and a White Elephant gift exchange open to all attendees—with a $20 limit on gift prices—should really kick the party up a notch. With all the work parents put into making the holidays so special for their children, our party is the perfect way for Grand Hampton’s adults to kick back, socialize and reward themselves for a job well done.
Finally, what holiday season wouldn’t be complete without an appearance from the big man himself, Santa Claus? Grand Hampton residents will be able to bring their little ones to meet Santa, and Disney’s famous princess Elsa, at the community clubhouse on December 21st from 10am to 1pm. Face painting, Christmas train rides and pictures with Santa will all be available. The smile on your child’s face when they whisper what they want for Christmas into Santa’s ear is our gift to you this year.
Grand Hampton is just one of the many communities Melrose is bringing the Christmas spirit to this winter. As you can see, their schedule is full of events and activities that are sure to make this season one for the books.
